University project: Patchmakers

 

Many people think that looking after plants is hard, they are scared looking after them will be too difficult, but it’s about finding a plant that fits you, your home and your schedule. Patch have the expertise to match their audience with their perfect plant match. Patchmakers is a campaign that encourages and makes it easier for people to find their perfect plant companion. The campaign is tailored and relatable to the Patch audience using copy inspired by the dating scene, as the audience will have used or be familiar with dating language. By developing the personalities of the plants Patch stock, the campaign builds

a stronger connection between plant and plant parent. The Patchmakers questionnaire builds and physicalises the concept that Patch can help you meet your perfect plant companion, in which the audience will meet their match much more easily. The 

combination of features such as the separate plant Instagram profiles and delivery

cards further creates a bond between the plants and their plant parents and aids

the audience in having more confidence to look after their plants.
